Forteiland IJmuiden is part of De Stelling van Amsterdam and Unesco world heritage. The Fort was built around 1885 to defend Amsterdam. The fortress is the largest of the whole defence line. Huge almost. Complete with a domed hall, murals, labyrinth and bunkers. It is a location to feast your eyes on. A historic location, but with all modern conveniences.
